Brass Sheet and plate, produced as a combination of copper and zinc, has the highest ductility in the yellow brass series. It is an attractive material with a smooth, yellow brass finish. It may be polished to a gold like appearance or given a brushed (satin) finish. 260 Brass can be used in corrosive enviroments. 260 Brass forms a thin protective patina, which, unlike steel and iron, will not rust when exposed to the atmosphere.
